The Central Baltic Showcase Conference gathered over 150
participants at Kulturhuset in Stockholm on September 15, 2009. The
organisers received a lot of positive feedback for the somewhat
different approach towards how to build a conference day and to make EU
funding a lively subject of discussion.
The Icelandic Minister for Foreign Affairs, HE Mrs Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir, made an official working visit to Latvia September 8-9.
During her visit HE had meetings and discussions with her Latvian counterpart HE Mr Maris Riekstins, visited Parliament, the President and also several Latvian Icelandic companies in Riga.
